Enjoy your stay at Finca el Bosque.

Finca el Bosque lies in a rural area of Mijas Costa, meaning we are a dual-edged sword, as the beach is just 10/15 minutes away by car! This means that you have all the pleasures of a rural holiday, with amazing walks, cycling, horseriding, animals and scenic mountain landscapes. Yet just a short trip brings you fine sandy beaches, amazing golf courses, countless bars, restaurants and nightlife in La Cala de Mijas or Fuengirola! Or maybe take a trip up to the whitewashed Spanish village of Mijas, a popular tourist attraction with the most amazing views over the Coast! Other popular coastal destinations such as Marbella. Puerto Banus and Malaga City (including the airport), can easily be reached by car in roughly 25/30 minutes!

The Costa del Sol has a wealth of attractions and activities to suit all tastes, Finca el Bosque rural accommodation is comfortably close to all of them!

When it comes to local attractions and things to do in the area, there is a wealth of choice! If you are staying at Finca El Bosque then you clearly like the countryside, so maybe country sports such as horse riding, hiking or birdwatching are your thing? Or maybe you are just here for the peace and quiet, to relax by the pool, or take a day trip to the beach? In the coastal resorts of La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa and Fuengirola, you can find amazing beaches, restaurants and bars to pursue, while water sports such as scuba diving and paragliding are perfect for the adrenaline junkies! If you are a keen golfer, then you will love the local golf courses, there are many excellent ones and the nearest is situated just 10 minutes from the Finca el Bosque!

Don't drive or don't want to hire a car? Not to worry, there is a bus stop (that runs a regular service) within 4 minutes walking distance from our Holiday Finca, there are also reliable taxi services in the Mijas area and not to forget Uber which is also established in the area, so there are plenty of ways to get around! Of course, if you can hire a car, or even a scooter, it can be a lot more fun and there are some exciting places to explore!

A couple of minutes down the road from the Finca there is a lovely bar/restaurant called the Honey pot, it serves great food and has a friendly vibe, there are also some other bars hidden in the Campo (countryside) and don't forget our very own little bar "Frankie's rum bar" that can be opened for your refreshment, many a story has been made in there! We can also offer you freshly cooked meals, so if you do prefer to stay local, it can be a lot of fun too!
